Apparently I love to sew?! I’m Ally - the “A” in A.R.Threads - and when your initials spell out ART, aside from rocking a pretty confusing LLBean backpack in grade school, you’re kind of predestined to do something creative…

After years of channeling my creativity in the event space, an incredible opportunity was presented by a dear friend and fellow maker - she was looking for someone to embroider some sweatshirts for her jewelry line (shoutout BomBom Beads!) and I gave it a shot. Self-taught (shoutout YouTube) and a full-time mom (shoutout Maya + Benny), I never imagined a few sweaters would turn into a business, but thanks to the incredible support and outpouring of love from family and friends, what started as a creative outlet has transformed into something bigger.

I couldn’t be more grateful for the encouragement, mentorship and guidance from so many along the way, and to all of YOU who are trusting me to do what I love for the people YOU love!
